Making amazon the prime choice for a wicked download
On January 3rd, Wicked would be released on Apple TV, Sky and Amazon Prime Video in the UK. With no price difference between platforms, Amazon Prime Video wanted an incentivisation campaign that would inspire customers to choose their platform when purchasing the movie. Targeting people in the pre-order period by leveraging Amazon Prime exclusive access and benefits.
With the rise of at-home watch party’s, a cost effective alternative to the cinema and a growing social media trend, and the social nature of a film like Wicked, I created a campaign that would reward any pre-order purchase with guaranteed Wicked giveaways and potential grand prizes.
Amazon Prime’s exclusive partnership with Universal allowed for all collateral to be fully immersed in the branded world of Wicked.
